Aertex

Aertex is a heritage British brand that celebrates its 120th anniversary this year. Renowned worldwide for creating the first breathable fabric back in 1888, Aertex went on to supply uniform to the ‘Desert Rats’ fighting in North Africa during WWII, and later made football shirts for the England World Cup team playing in the sweltering Mexico heat in 1970. Now a brand established once again for producing great quality shirting and cutting edge knits - inspired its rich archives - Aertex is seeking to expand on its initial UK re-launch success and is actively seeking growth into other markets in Europe, the U.S and Japan for s/s09.

Farah Vintage

In 1920 Farah first began producing clothing in El Paso, Texas. Then in the 1970s the Farah Slack was assimilated into British youth culture.

At a time when the media was transfixed with the emergence of Punk, the Farah Slack was popularized when a whole generation of young men - from mods and skins to the Jamaican ‘Stickmen’ - created regionalised fashion trends. Dressed in smart-casual clothing, the look spread and became firmly entwined within The Casual Scene, based on the Mods notion of secrecy and elitism.

Revived in 2007, Farah Slacks & Leisurewear takes its cue from the golden era of this iconic trouser brand, exploring elements from a rich archive combining vintage inspiration with directional design and colour.

Nom de Guerre

Nom de Guerre is a New York based creative collective founded by Holly Harnsongkram, Wil Whitney, Devon Turnbull, and Isa Saalabi. The concept of the collective is to combine basic and diverse influences from art, fashion, and various New York City subcultures to create a composite culture and product.

Nom de Guerre opened October 2003, in downtown Manhattan on the corner of Broadway and Bleecker Street. Invisible to the average passer-by, the subterranean space is inspired by underground sites such as bunkers, tunnels, and archaeological digs, creating a sense of otherworldliness.

Nom de Guerre has the look of a high-end Army/Navy outpost with an emphasis on utilitarian basics; and since its inception, has been a destination for young New Yorkers who comprise the burgeoning art and music scene.
